Wii game downloads will cost ¥2500 (about $25) in Japan and £17.99 or €19.99 in Europe (About $23 to $27). Super Mario Galaxy 2, available later today, will be the first game to get the downloadable treatment, followed by the Wii version of Punch-Out!! on January 22 and Metroid Prime Trilogy on January 29.Īll three games will be available for $19.99 in the US, but early adopters can download them for half price during their first week of availability. Nintendo has announced that it will release select Wii games in downloadable versions for the Wii U starting today.
